There’s a not insignificant chance I’ll get to open a DND club at my school so I made these quick charts to help. They’re made to be printed in A5 format, and if anyone is interested I can try and put a link to the PDF version on drive.

First image covers the type and names of dice. Image 2 explains ability scores, img 3 explains what modifiers, HP, AC, Proficiency, DC saving throw & death save mean.

Image 4 & 5 are also lists of words but they have a big red logo with white axes in it. Img 4 explains flanking, advantage, disadvantage, melee range, critical hit/fail, area of effect and ranged spell attack. Img 5 explains the elements of combat: Initiative, what a Round is, movement, action, bonus action, reaction, attack of opportunity.

My next step is to make one of these per class to help players remember their main level 1 features and main rolls, but that’s probably going to have to wait until later.

This effort was inspired by GinnyDi’s video about how to help new players like the game on YouTube. Please reblog if this seems useful to you!

ETA: There are now two more booklets in this collection: The Little Book of Level 1 has all the essential mechanics of each class, and Conditions, conditions, conditions! Sums up all possible conditions in the game. You can find them through the pinned post on my blog :)

as a former school for good and evil girlie i had a lot of mixed feelings about the movie, but maybe the biggest negative for me was the fact that they completely cut agatha’s arc about self-esteem and confidence. i first read the first book when i was like.. 15? and that arc CHANGED me and the way that i thought about myself

it’s weird to complain that an actress is “too pretty” - and this is not at all a criticism of sofia wylie herself, who is absolutely gorgeous and who gave her whole heart and self to her performance - but i genuinely do wish that agatha had been more average-looking. she needed to visually not fit in! there needed to be a HUGE visual difference between her and sophie, who fits every conventional beauty standard and who relies on her pretty privilege in the second act and in her relationship with tedros! and speaking of tedros - their relationship is so much more impactful if agatha ISN’T PRETTY, if he’s attracted to her for deeper reasons which sophie has trouble comprehending!!!

of all of the changes they made to the story, this is the one that i question the most. agatha’s search for confidence is so pivotal to her character and to the themes of the series as a whole, and it is genuinely upsetting to me that the film skipped it entirely

GUYS, PLS READ! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

These two are the main ship on Motherland: Fort Salem, Raelle and Scylla.

    image

The actresses have amazing chemistry, you can see it clearly in every scene.

    image
    image

And this show will get cancelled after S3 and it’s unfair. It has good representation, good plot, good ships, very good acting and basically everything you could ask for! It deserves more than only 3 seasons.

This is the main cast of the show.

So, if you want to see more of them too…

Sign the petition and share it as much as possible! It’s very important, ‘cause we need at least 100.000 signatures to be noticed.

Remember to sign and share, pls help us save Motherland Fort Salem. Our hope is for Hulu, Prime Video or Netflix to continue the production in case Freeform won’t.

Thank you all for your help!

I don’t get the fandom hype around Josie. I like Josie character but most of the fandom stuff I see makes her seem perfect (and I think the writers portray her as perfect) even when the plot shows the opposite. She told everyone about Lizzie being “witch bipolar”, she told everyone what was in Lizzie’s diary and yet she always plays victim in their sisterly dynamic. She blames Lizzie for her codependency issues even though Lizzie is always trying to be better and trying to help. When Josie moves out and leaves Salvatore Lizzie doesn’t try to convince her to stay even though it hurts her. But whenever Lizzie needs support Josie makes it about her issues with codependency. And everyone calls Lizzie the evil twin and the mean girl while Josie never defends her. When Josie was ostracized after dark!Jo, Lizzie tried supporting her and just got scolded. Maybe it wasn’t the right way, but she was just trying to help. Josie runs from her problems and plays the victim while Lizzie has always been shown to actively be bettering herself and trying to fix the parts of her she thinks are broken. I’m just so sick of the narrative that Josie is perfect and Lizzie is evil. Because there is no proof of that. And I don’t understand why everything she does (like exposing lizzie’s secrets) is forgiven so quickly and everything Lizzie does something slightly wrong (like mean girl Josie into being liked again) it becomes a bigger issue. Its like Lizzie isn’t even allowed to be mad at Josie even when she deserves it.
